On December 3, 2024, the 2024 Global Digital Economy Conference Cloud·AI·Computing International Cooperation Forum, hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and the China Communications Standards Association, was successfully held in Beijing.The conference brought together numerous industry experts under the theme of "Intelligent Cloud, Computing the Blueprint," and deeply explored the process of intelligent transformation in software engineering amidst the rapid development of Artificial Intelligence.
The conference announced the winners of the 3rd 2024 "Software Intelligence and Efficiency Leader" Excellent Case Awards, where the Yuexiu Group Agile DevOps Service Project stood out among many excellent entries. Yuexiu Group, in collaboration with Canway BlueWhale jointly built an Agile DevOps system serving the entire group and received authoritative industry recognition for its innovation and excellent implementation.Previously, the project also won the 3rd "Dingxin Cup" Digital Transformation Application Case Award.

The agile project was forward-looking from the start, taking a holistic view and adopting a top-down approach.By introducing the industry-leading BlueKing PaaS Platform Architecture and partnering with Canway BlueKing, a strong vendor with years of experience in R&D and operations integration, the Group jointly built the Yuexiu Group DevOps Development Management Platform.This platform serves as the core, enabling system interconnection, building an agile system covering the entire R&D process, and supporting the dual agile transformation of the Group's business and organization.
The DevOps Development Management Platform centers on the "Four Vertical and Four Horizontal" concepts. Horizontally, it achieves end-to-end tool integration, information asset flow and sharing, process integration into the engineering platform, efficiency display, and lean improvement.Vertically, it provides platform support and rule setting for the practices across Requirements, Development, Testing, and Operations, as well as the construction of complex topology relationships between resources.

2) BlueKing Empowerment: Creating a One-Stop R&D Management Platform
Based on the support and self-growth capabilities of the BlueKing PaaS Platform, the team built core functions for R&D organizations, including Demand Management, Deployment Management, Artifact Management, and Test Management, and established an R&D process value measurement system.R&D personnel can also independently build customized processes based on the BlueKing platform's atomic capabilities, completing the closed-loop management from requirements, development, testing, and deployment to the management cockpit. By integrating with third-party management systems, the platform achieved "de-siloing" and created a unified one-stop R&D management platform.

3) Sustainable Development: Achieving a Triune R&D Vision
Yuexiu Group fully considered sustainability during construction, closely aligning with the Group's current status and accounting for various situations during the transformation process. The team integrated multiple existing systems, established the "Development Management Standard Implementation Guide," and standardized processes and specifications. This achieved the integrated linkage of data, tools, and processes, maximizing the utilization of existing assets, avoiding redundant construction, and saving significant costs.

The system covers all phases of the R&D lifecycle: Project Initiation, Requirements, Design, Development, Testing, Production, and Operations. Asset data across all stages is bound and standardized, and the full toolchain is connected to fully integrate productivity, achieving "Engineering-Process Integration". The first phase of the Yuexiu Group Agile DevOps project achieved the goals of "Platform Setup, Process Establishment, and Standardization". The platform integrated with over 80 systems, hosted approximately 200 million lines of source code, and executed nearly 36,000 automated deployments. Each deployment saved an average of 12 minutes, resulting in an efficiency increase of 10 times compared to manual processes, effectively saving labor costs.
The project delivered value across six major dimensions: Financial Return, User Experience, Technology Support, Organizational Talent, Innovative Application, and Sustainability.
